Ma fille a lu et vu la série “A la croisée des mondes” il y a quelques semaines. Elle est devenue totalement fan de cet univers où l’âme d’un humain est représentée par un animal dont il ne peut se séparer.
Cette journée dans cette abbaye perchée non loin de Barcelone lors d’un petit road trip hivernal m’a fait penser à l’université où ont grandi Lyra et Pantalaimon.
Oui, j’ai toujours adoré cet univers moi aussi !
J’avais pris avec moi un appareil argentique et deux Portra 160 que j’ai poussé à 320 ISO. J’aime beaucoup le rendu et ces tonalités qui tirent vers le marron.
My daughter read and saw the series “The Golden Compass” a few weeks ago. She has become totally addict of this universe where the soul of a human is represented by an animal from which he cannot separate.
A day in this abbey perched not far from Barcelona during a little winter road trip made me think of the university where Lyra and Pantalaimon grew up.
Yes, I have always loved this universe too !
I took with me a film camera and two Portra 160s which I pushed to ISO 320. I really like the result and these tones which lean towards brown.

She had been asking us to return to Cadaqués for several years. She was ten years old when she spent a day there. It was in 2016 during our road trip on the Spanish coast and she kept beautiful memories of this village and its surroundings.
She fell in love with the place again that long weekend in May. Just like us.
I had brought the film camera this time. You can see the entire series of images here.
Cela faisait plusieurs années qu’elle nous demandait de retourner à Cadaqués. Elle avait dix ans lorsqu’elle y avait passé une journée. C’était en 2016 lors de notre road trip sur la côte espagnole et elle gardait de beaux souvenirs de ce village et des alentours.
Elle est retombée amoureuse de l’endroit lors de ce long weekend de mai. Tout comme nous.
